Twilight photos are a beautiful way to market a listing. The twilight look is achieved by photographing the home just as the sun drops below the horizon. We use an arsenal of different lights and filters to showcase the home in its best possible light.
Why do twilight photos appeal more to buyers?

Twilight photos apeal to buyers on so many differnt levels. Firstly a twilight photo just looks pretty, the house looks warm and inviting and the sky has that relaxed subtle look.
Secondly twilight photos go further than just looking pretty. They appeal to buyers on subconscious level. As you may or may not know humans have evolved over time from cave people to inventers of space shuttles and the internet. It has been scientifically proven that humans have retained the primal instincts from caveman days, so when the sun drops down below the horizon and the sky turns that magic shade of deep blue our instincts tell us to head home to our warm cave with the fire crackling. In the same way that a hunter would look for their lit cave on the mountain face we instinctively feel calmed and drawn to a warmly lit house as the sun drops below the horizon.
Finally it is thought that the image of a home at night symbolises the end of the working day, Its possible that we naturally feel relaxed when we think of going home after work and retiring for the night, Hence why a buyers attention my be attracted by a warm looking twilight photo of a house.
What kind of homes do you recommend twilight photography on?
Twilight photgraphy is a premium service so we would recommend it on homes that are towards the upper end of the market or on a listing that may be lacking traffic and needs a boost as twilight photos can make any home look fantastic.
We can also take twilight photos of shops, offices or factories.
Twilight photos are also perfect for builder portfolios or swimming pool photos.
How long does a twilight shoot take and what time of the day do you start?
The length of the shoot depends on the size of the home, but as a general rule of thumb a standard 4 bedroom 30sqr home will take around half an hour.
During summer and daylight saving months twilight shoots start around 7:00 – 8:00pm and in winter months around 5:00pm
We will advise you of the best time upon taking your booking. please note that twilight bookings are limited as we can only shoot one property per photographer per night, so jobs come on a first come first served basis and regular daytime clients may take priority.
