Indesign Concepts Photo Shoot

We shot this fantastic home in Balwyn a few weeks ago. This home was an absolute pleasure to photograph. We were contracted by Melissah Wigall from Indesign Interior Concepts to photograph her beautiful interior design work.

I forget how old the home originally is, but I know it has some historic storey behind it. The home owners wanted to renovate and expand this beautiful art deco home so they sought the skills of Keith Valentine and Martin West from West Valentine Design.  All I can say is those guys did a fantastic job as it was near impossible to see where the old mixed with the new.  I was especially fond of the “cruise liner” feel that the home had, Looking out from the kitchen and meals area you get a breathtaking view perfectly manicured gardens and swimming pool, the white balustrading adds to the effect and almost tricks you into thinking that you could be on the QE2!

As soon as I walked out into the rear of the property I knew this home was going to help me deliver some killer photos!  The lighting was perfect, the colours were right and the property was facing the right direction to get some killer twilight shots.

The interior didn’t disappoint either! As an interior photographer I’m always more than eager to work with a home that has had a professional stylist go through it, Hey it make my job easier and the photos better!

Melissah from Indesign is an iterior decorator and designer that really knows her stuff! The colours and furniture she had put into this home complimented its fine style down to a tee. Melissah made perfect use of the massive windows in this home to highlight detail in the fine furniture that immediately catches your eyes when you walk into the room.

I hope you enjoy looking at these photos and can admire the architecture and perfect interior design work as much as I did when photographing it.
